Can you still get the film for them . I'm sure the box brownine I had in the late 70's used an odd sized film like 127 .
127 film is available!
http://www.retrophotographic.com/shop/126/index.htm
No 2 Brownie takes 120 size film which is why Flibs suggested it - 120 is readily available as it is used in pro film cameras. A lot of other box cameras used 620 film which is the same as 120 but wound on a slimmer spool. It is possible to rewind 120 onto a 620 spool but its a PITA

Efke film is also available in 127 as far as I know ( http://www.efke.nl )
http://www.filmforclassics.com has some vague film types too, but they are kind of expensive.
I've respooled 120 film on 620 reels for my Kodak Medalist I, and it is indeed a PITA. But having the camera converted to 120 film is rather expensive and not quite cost-effective as I rarely use my Medalist, so I'll endure a bit more. ![]()

Now where did ~I leave my Alien corpse for the autopsy pictures I need ot take ![]()
Its amazing 127 film is still available - it's long defunct and doesn't have any application now except to revive old cameras. Talk about a niche market!

It was an old format when I was using it as a kid in my parents old camera in 1979 , before I swapped to 110, another one you don't see much of anymore. IIRC you only got about 8 or 10 pics to a roll of film .
